Since its inception, LI-MA has collaborated with organisations in the Nordic region. In this section, two projects are highlighted. LI-MA provided expertise for the development of the Videokunstarkivet, the Norwegian Video Art Archive now hosted at the Nasjonalmuseet. The Nordic Network is an international networking project where best practices about the distribution and archiving of media art are shared. Knowledge shared within this network informed Helen Westerik’s 2017 report on distributors' unique activities and the publication A New Era for the Distribution of Media Art (2023).
